One day at the beach, a simple game of catch with Max became a profound moment. “I realized all the things I thought we’d never do together were still possible,” McGinley reflected.
Now 26, Max has thrived—working at Starbucks, performing in a band, and bringing endless joy to his family. “He’s the glue that holds us together,” McGinley says. “Before Max, I didn’t truly understand love.”
