When a wife finds strange, sexual items in her home, she sets up a hidden camera to find out what’s really going on.
At her house, Carly found a makeup bag that she didn’t know. She asked her husband because she was confused and worried. He came up with a story right away and said it was his mother’s. However, Carly wasn’t persuaded, so she put a hidden camera in their bedroom.
Carly liked the quiet in her bedroom as she stole things. However hard things were in her marriage, she felt a little better when she looked at her baby son, who was sleeping so quietly. It wasn’t going well between her and Josh. Even though their love had grown cold, her son made it seem like everything was fine.
While cleaning up, Carly found a makeup bag under the bed. It was beautiful and strange at the same time. Did her husband or wife want to surprise her? But the old makeup inside her told her there was a problem.
She chose to talk to Josh, that’s all. She asked Josh, “Josh, could you come here?” as he walked into the kitchen. It was her job to show him the makeup bag. “Do you need to tell me something?”
Josh looked like he didn’t understand. “Is that something new that happened?” He asked, “Did you buy it?” as he looked at the bag.
Josh, I don’t own it. Where did the idea come from?” Carly looked at his face and hoped for the truth.
Josh seemed to be really confused. “I’ve never seen it before.” Whose it is it?”
Carly took a deep breath and shook with fear, knowing that what she said could change the course of events. “Josh, are you cheating on me?” she asked.
“What? I’m mad at you, Carly! Most likely one of my mom’s. She was here the other day. I believe I forgot.
It broke Carly’s heart. Josh, I know that your mom puts on makeup. She doesn’t own it.
“But Josh did not give up, it had to be.” He quickly took the makeup bag out of his sight because he felt the need to do so. As he quickly left the kitchen, he said, “I’ll just give it back to her the next time we see her.”
Carly was sad and confused when she was left alone. She made up her mind to find out the truth on her own. When she went up to the attic, she found an old camera that they used to like.
Carry took the camera to their bedroom, set it up, and put a wedding picture over it. She did it while shaking her hands. “I need to know the truth,” she said in her mind.
Before leaving the room, Carly looked at the picture of their wedding. Were we ever truly joyful? Then she sent Josh a text message that said, “I’m going shopping.” Will come back after midnight.
Carly’s mind was off while she was shopping. She was getting more and more tense as night fell. It was almost time to go home and deal with whatever the camera had caught.
Carly went back home with a racing heart after her son was calm. She took the camera out of the bedroom. Putting the card into the laptop in front of her, she sped through the movie until Josh and a little kid showed up.
The girl carelessly threw her jacket over the photographer’s view of their wedding picture. Carly had a lot on her mind. “How could he?” she asked as the screen went black, adding to her doubts that the lens had been covered on purpose.
At that very moment, the front door clicked open. Josh went to his house. Carly shut down the PC as her heart was beating fast. “We need to talk,” she said as Josh walked in.
“What about?”
Carly opened the laptop again and hit the space bar to begin watching the movie. “About this,” she said in a low voice. Josh’s mood dropped, and he started to get angry. “You watched me?”
Does that make you feel bad? Who is the girl in the video? Carly asked for something.
“It’s Martha, one of my students,” Josh tried to explain.
“In our room?”
Josh told her not to worry. “I don’t see the thing.”
“You were with a little girl in our bedroom!” Are you lying to me? Carly asked the question straight out.
“If I were, would I tell you her name?” Josh fired back.
Josh, tell me the truth! Are you up for it?” Carly put pressure on it.
“What would you do even if I were?” Carly was shocked by Josh’s heartless behavior.
She told him, “I’m going to leave you and get a divorce.”
“Tend to hold a child without having a single penny? Remember that the prenuptial deal leaves you with very little.
When someone cheats, I’ll get everything!” Then Carly shot back.
Carly, let me tell you something. There’s no lying. There is a movie of Martha coming into our bedroom. “That’s not enough,” Josh laughed.
“You’re the one who’s lying, Josh!” And our deal makes it clear that you will lose everything,” Carly yelled, her anger boiling over.
Josh got closer, and his voice got low and scary. “Best of luck with that proof.” Please be careful, Carly, or you’ll regret it. Carly was shocked by how quickly and violently he left.
Carly found Martha on campus the next day because she needed proof. “Martha?” she yelled as she reached her.
“We need to talk,” Carly said strongly, stopping her in her tracks.
Martha pushed her away and said, “I have nothing to say to you.”
“My name is Josh’s partner. “I know about you two,” Carly told her to try to win her over.
Martha took a breath. “You… “You’re completely wrong.”
“I require your help.” She offered her a tape recorder and begged, “Just tell me everything, and I’ll record it.”
Martha moved back. “That’s not okay with me,” she said.
Carly kept going even though her heart was sinking. “I should leave; it’s best for both of us.” Please help me.
“No,” said Martha. “I can’t turn against him. He’s leaving you for me.
He’s really leaving me for a little girl. He’s not telling you the truth, Martha. “Everything is not true!” She tried to make things clear.
“No, we’re not just in love!” Do not get in my way!” Martha was very angry and left Carly by herself. Josh walked up to her with a smile on his face, still reeling from what had happened.
“Carly, what are you up to?” he asked with a smile. “You’re trying to be a detective, huh?”
“I’m on you, trying to pin you for cheating!” She yelled, and her angry red eyes shone.
Josh laughed in a mean way. “Are you sure?” Everything is going to be lost, even our son.”
After avoiding Josh’s threats and taking her son to her mother’s house for safety, Carly decided to tell everyone about him. She got in touch with Chloe, a call girl, so she could arrest Josh without his permission.
Chloe heard about Carly’s plan in a hotel room. Fear filled Carly’s voice as she begged, “Pretend you’re a student, put something in Josh’s drink, and take some fake pictures.”
Chloe kept quiet. This doesn’t make sense. Things like this don’t happen very often. I’ll do it if you pay me twice as much.
I agreed with Carly.
After a while, Chloe came back and told Carly, “All done.” She gave her an envelope. This made Carly feel better. The pictures in it showed Josh doing something wrong. When Chloe got paid by Carly, she felt both relieved and proud.
Chloe looked at the money and then saw a champagne bottle on a table. “Is this champagne free?” she asked.
It really does come from the hotel. Both Josh and I are known to them. “It’s part of the price,” Carly said.
Chloe kicked off the party. Carly agreed to “let’s have a drink then,” pleased that her plan had worked. As they clinked their glasses and said, “Here’s to fresh starts,” they had an unexpected moment of friendship.
Carly was enjoying herself for the first time in a long time. As the evening went on, she forgot about her worries for a while thanks to the stories and laughter. Then morning came.
After Chloe left, Carly tried to figure out what had happened while she was sick with a terrible headache. She locked the door behind her that unexpected night, collected her things, and left the motel.
When she got home, she saw Josh in the kitchen.
He asked stubbornly, “Where have you been?”
She told him, “That’s none of your business,” because she was sick of being treated like her property.
“But since you’re my wife, it’s kind of my business,” Josh said with a strong voice.
Carly snapped back, “Not for much longer,” and reached for a headache pill.
“Not for long?” What is the right way to understand that? Josh asked, trying to act like he wasn’t worried but clearly was.
“I’m getting a divorce, Josh,” Carly said in a clear and firm voice.
“You know I’ll get everything, right?” Josh asked with a smile. It was like he could never prove that he was cheating on her.
Carly said, “Not this time,” which let everyone know that she had something special planned.
In an effort to impress her even more, Josh showed pictures that he thought showed Carly cheating on Chloe. “It looks like your friend wasn’t honest.”
Carly was ready, though. She put together her own pictures of Josh and Chloe. “What do you say about this?”
Josh didn’t feel good. “You won’t prove anything! That’s how I’ll handle it.
She said, “Well, we’ll see about that!” with confidence, and Josh ran off.
When Carly was left by herself again, she saw Josh’s phone and came up with a plan. She asked Martha to help her find proof that he was lying and sent her the pictures that showed it. He is lying to both of us. Do you believe what I’m saying now? She put together.
Josh, You can’t win. Carly smiled and told Martha, “I’ll help you.”
A few months later, Martha’s statement about her affair with Josh was very important in court. It proved that Josh had been cheating on Carly for more than a year. Carly got all of the property and funds after the judge made a decision based on the proof she showed and the testimony of witnesses.
She felt a wave of relief that was so strong she could touch it. It wasn’t for nothing that she had fought this slow and painful fight.
Additionally, the judge said that her son would stay with her until Josh was allowed to visit. Carly knew she could handle this new reality with the strength she had found in herself through this experience, even though it was hard to think about Josh staying in their lives.
The well-being of her son had always been her first concern, and now she could give him a loving, safe home away from the chaos that had been their life.
Carly sat there for a while after the court put the case on hold, thinking about how big the choice was. She had not only won the court case, but she had also fought off the manipulation and helplessness that were about to take over her life.
