A Forced Marriage’s Dark Secret

Anna stood in her lavish wedding gown, her fingers trembling as her new husband, Iván, held her hand with a firm grip. He was a wealthy man in his sixties, dressed in an expensive suit, his gray eyes sharp and commanding. Around them, guests toasted to their union, but Anna’s smile never reached her eyes.

Her parents, standing nearby, radiated pride. To them, this marriage was a dream come true—financial security, status, and a comfortable life. But for Anna, it was a prison sentence. She had no say in the matter. Her dreams, her desires, none of it mattered. She was just a pawn in a deal she never agreed to.

That night, as the celebrations ended and silence filled the mansion, Iván led her to their bedroom. His gaze was unsettling, his voice eerily calm when he finally spoke.

“I want you to call me ‘Daddy.’”

The words sent a shock through her body. Anna froze, her breath catching in her throat. He continued, revealing a truth more horrifying than she could have imagined.

“This was always meant to be. I’ve watched you for years. I helped your family when they needed me—all so one day, you’d be mine.”

Anna’s blood ran cold. This wasn’t just an arranged marriage. It was a twisted obsession, carefully planned over time. She wasn’t his wife—she was his possession.

Tears welled in her eyes, but beneath the fear, a fire ignited. She couldn’t stay. She wouldn’t.

Before sunrise, Anna made her escape, slipping past the mansion’s gates with nothing but the clothes on her back. She didn’t know where she was going, but for the first time in her life, she was free.
