Rylan Clark Shares Heartfelt Update About Rob Rinder Partnership

Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder have become one of television’s most beloved duos since their BBC Two travel series, Rob & Rylan’s Grand Tour, debuted last year. The show followed the pair as they retraced the steps of 19th-century poet Lord Byron, exploring Italy’s most stunning cities—Venice, Florence, and Rome—while diving into art, history, and their own unexpected friendship.

Now, the dynamic duo has even more reason to celebrate. Their show has been nominated for a BAFTA TV Award in the Factual Entertainment category—an achievement Rylan admitted he never saw coming.

Taking to Instagram, the 36-year-old presenter shared the exciting news with fans, posting the official BAFTA nomination list alongside a heartfelt caption: “I can’t believe I’m saying this… we’re nominated for a @bafta! Thank you so much for watching.”

Rob, 46, responded with equal enthusiasm, quoting philosopher Thomas Aquinas in the comments: “There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship.” He then added, “Bravo, you intelligent, compassionate, and wonderful person.”
