The Hidden Dangers of Nicotine-Free Vaping You Need to Know

Many people switch to nicotine-free vaping, thinking they’ve made a healthier choice by eliminating nicotine. But emerging research reveals that these devices may still pose serious risks to your cardiovascular and respiratory health. Doctors are sounding the alarm about potential dangers that go far beyond nicotine content.

Dr. Michael Blaha from Johns Hopkins Medicine explains the concern: “You’re still exposing yourself to a chemical cocktail we don’t fully understand.” The heating process in e-cigarettes transforms seemingly harmless base liquids like propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin into new compounds that may damage blood vessel function.

Recent 2024 study findings show that even single vaping sessions – with or without nicotine – immediately impair vascular performance, suggesting chronic use could lead to lasting circulatory problems.
